James Burnett is a songwriter, composer, producer, and music supervisor whose work spans hit records and acclaimed projects for visual media. He is the founder and chief creative officer at Burnett Music; composer at Neon Orchestra; and guitarist for Little Dume.

As executive music producer for Deadpool 2, James helped bring to life “Ashes” by Celine Dion, which became a global hit. His songwriting credits include “Settle,” the lead single from Jordan Smith’s #1 album Something Beautiful, and “Craving” by Arty and Audien, a Billboard Dance #1.

He composed Billy Shakespeare, the original runway score for Prohetik’s catwalk show at London Fashion Week, the first and only show ever held at the Tower of London. He is the executive music producer of several Neon Orchestra projects, including Jimmy Fallon’s NBC series On Brand and HBO’s docu-series Celtics City, and music supervisor of movies and series including Amazon MGM Studios’ original series American Gladiators, Alec Roth and Al Pacino’s film Billy Knight, Stone Village Pictures’ docu-series In Search of Love, and David Henrie and Selena Gomez’s film This Is The Year.
